Thomas S. Chambers, BA, FCA, ICD.D
President
Mr. Chambers is the President of Senior Partner Services Ltd. which provides business advisory services. He is a Chartered Accountant and a retired partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he was the national managing partner of the firm’s audit practice. He serves on a number of public and private Boards of Directors, including the Health and Home Care Society of BC. Mr. Chambers is a graduate of UBC and the Director’s Education program. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia.
Doug Purdie, BCom, CA
Vice-president, Treasurer
Mr. Purdie is an associate partner in the Audit and Assurance Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, specializing in Private Company Services; he leads the Canada China Desk in Vancouver, and is a member of the firm’s Real Estate group. Mr. Purdie graduated from the University of British Columbia with a BCom in 1990, and earned his CA designation in 1994. He is an associate member representative of the Urban Development Institute (Pacific Region) and a member of the Hong Kong Canada Business Association. Doug also serves as director of the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BC Division), the Neil Squire Society and is a director and treasurer or both the Association of Chinese-Canadian Professionals (BC) and S.U.C.C.E.S.S.
David
J. Kimpton
Secretary
Mr. Kimpton is a registered social worker and has worked 33 years in child welfare in the Lower Mainland. He is the past president, of both Volunteer Richmond and Volunteer BC, and has volunteered with VON BC (now known as the Health and Home Care Society of BC) since 1987. He has been an HHCSBC Life Member, and has sat on the Board of Directors since 2001. Also in 2001, Mr. Kimpton was named by VON Canada as the UN International Year of the Volunteer (Western Region). He also serves on the Board of Directors for The Dugout Drop-In Centre Society in the Downtown Eastside, and is an active member of St. Alban Anglican Church, Richmond. In November 2010, he was awarded the Order of the Diocese of New Westminster. In his free time, David enjoys tennis, golf and curling.
Bruce Knapp, MAIBC
Mr. Knapp is a registered architect and Senior Principal at Stantec, Canada’s largest integrated architecture and engineering firm. He leads the BC Healthcare and Justice Sectors and brings his communication, design and business skills to lead the project team from conception to completion. His volunteer activities have included work with the NEED Crisis Line in Victoria, the Architectural Institute of BC, Point Grey Mini School, the Kerrisdale Soccer Club and Kerrisdale Little League baseball. Bruce is an avid jazz trumpeter and motorcyclist and has two sons, age 19 and 16.
Eva Turner, BA, CIM
Ms. Turner graduated (major in Business) in 1982 from Simon Fraser University. In 1991, she co-founded Lee, Turner & Associates Inc., an investment management company, in Vancouver, B.C. Ms. Turner achieved a Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation in 2005 and joined the Health and Home Care Society of BC Board of Directors in 2009. Eva is also a member of the HHCSBC finance committee.
Pat Kasprow, RN, BSc, MBA, CHE, CEC
Ms. Kasprow is president of Pat Kasprow and Associates, Health Care Consulting LTD. During 2009, Pat commenced working with various organizations in preparation for or responding to Accreditation Canada surveys. She has also worked on special projects and provided coaching to new leaders in the health care industry. Pat accepted the position as Manager Minoru Residence in May 2010. Minoru Residence, as part of Vancouver Coastal Health, provides care and services to 250 Complex Care Residents in Richmond BC. Pat is a Surveyor for the Accreditation Canada. As a member of the Steveston Rotary Club, Pat is currently chair of the International Committee.
Terry Pask
Mr. Pask retired from Canadian Western Bank & Trust after an extensive and successful career in marketing, senior management and new business development. He served as the Corporate Chair and Leadership Chair for Canadian Western Back’s charity of choice, The United Way, and directed and managed successful Sponsorship and corporate campaigns for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Pask’s current memberships include Bard on the Beach and Coastal Jazz & Blues Society. He also serves as a director for the The Vancouver Bach Choir, The Vancouver Opera Foundation and is a former Director of The West Vancouver Community Arts Council at The Silk Purse. Terry is also a member of The Vancouver Board of Trade, The Vancouver Club, the West Vancouver Chamber of Commerce and past founding director of the Canada, Australia and New Zealand Business Association.

Dr. Chambers is the former Assistant Director of the Centre for Clinical
Epidemiology & Evaluation, Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute. He
is also the former Associate Clinical Professor Department of Health Care Epidemiology,
U.B.C. and is currently a consulting clinical epidemiologist, G. Keith
Chambers Consulting Inc.
Dr. Wendy A. Leong, PharmD, BCPS, MBA
Dr. Leong is a Research Director & Investigator in Cardiovascular & Thromboembolic Disease; a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy at the University of British Columbia; and a Consultant in Health Care, Research & Education. Her background includes emergency medicine, cardiology, critical care, outpatient (ambulatory) clinics and a strong commitment to evidence-based medicine. Wendy was a former board member for Osteoporosis Canada, SUCCESS, ScotiaBank Resource Centre for Women, SFU Executive MBA Alumni and several other organizations.
