Why Choose Us
The Health Promotion Services branch of the Health and Home Care Society of BC is a social enterprise: a venture that serves to fund our not-for-profit, charitable programs. While other organizations provide similar services for profit, we use our revenues to support seniors and caregivers in our Meals on Wheels and Family Respite Centre programs. We do not just keep your workplace safe and healthy; we help others in your community, as well.
We are also different from other health service providers because of the quality of our service. Unfortunately, private health services are not always regulated. The Health and Home Care Society of BC only employs Registered Nurses – one of the highest levels of nursing available. They know all health and safety procedures involved with the clinics and workshops that they are providing.
Engaging our Health Promotion Services division by booking your flu shot clinic or wellness workshop helps your organization increase its social return on investment by:
- Helping us refresh and reinvigorate all our community services
- Providing much needed financial resources so we can continue to create responsive and innovative health services
- Bringing wider benefits such as community reintegration and social inclusion for local families, seniors and caregivers
You can be assured that you are receiving the highest quality of care.
