Community Nurse – Respite Palliative Care

Are you interested in casual on-call work within Vancouver to support families who are in need of respite palliative care for their loved one?   You would be responsible to relieve the main caregiver and provide care for several hours up to a full 8 hours at a time. 

Reporting to the Nurse Manager and following clinical standards, you will work closely with the client, family and caregiver in meeting client needs and provide a vital opportunity for the caregiver to take a break from the demands of caring for their loved one.

Do you have previous community experience which includes current knowledge and clinical skills in home care?  Is this supplemented by education and experience in palliative care nursing?  Are you a practicing CRNBC registered Nurse?  You would also need a valid BC driver’s license and access to a car.
