The Health and Home Care Society of BC is an independent, not-for-profit organization incorporated under the Society Act of British Columbia. From 1898 until 2006 the Society was proud to provide community-based health and social services in BC as one of the founding branches of the Victorian Order of Nurses. In April 2006, after VON Canada decided to restructure into a single, administrative national entity, the Society became an independent organization and changed from VON British Columbia to its current name.
Nevertheless, our services and commitment to the community have remained the same. We continue our tradition of caring by providing preventive and supportive health services that keep people healthy and in the comfort of their own homes, communities and workplaces. |
