I cannot recall when I last received my Tetanus shot - I believe it was more than 10 years ago. Is there any harm in receiving the booster twice within 10 years?
The risk of a reaction to the Tetanus vaccination is very rare and is only slightly greater if the booster is received before 10 years have passed. In the absence of documentation of vaccination within the past 5 years, a Td booster (Tetanus Diphtheria) booster is generally recommended. We also discussed recently how you might be able to find your previous vaccination history here.
