Care BC's Chinese Meals on Wheels (Chinese MOW) program has continued to operate weekdays, Monday through Friday during the COVID-19 pandemic
with increased safety precautions to protect both our clients and volunteers who deliver the meals.
We strongly recommend that clients have additional food available in their homes (frozen, canned or non-perishable) in the event of service disruptions.

General Information
In 1996, the Health and Home Care Society of BC launched one of Canada's first Chinese Meals on Wheels programs. The program now serves approximately 200 authentic Chinese meals every weekday, delivered by Chinese-speaking volunteers. All meals include tonic soup, hot entree and steamed rice.

Hot Chinese Meal are $8.00 (effective April 5, 2021)
