The Meals on Wheels (MOW) programs - both Western and Chinese - are operating weekdays, Monday through Friday. 
Some deliveries were temporarily suspended while new volunteers were being recruited and oriented during the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak. We strongly recommend that all of our MOW clients order additional 
frozen meals and have available in their homes canned food or non-perishable items in case of disruptions to our delivery schedules.
Hot Chinese Meals
In 1996, the Health and Home Care Society of BC launched one of Canada's first Chinese Meals on Wheels programs.  The program now serves approximately 200 authentic Chinese meals every weekday, delivered by Chinese-speaking volunteers. All meals include tonic soup, hot entree and steamed rice.
