Meet Pat! For over 20 years, she’s been a dedicated part of our Meals on Wheels team as a kitchen dispatcher and courier. She has recently been honored with our Lifetime Membership Award!

We at Care BC are thrilled to shine a spotlight on Pat, a dedicated and delightful volunteer who has been an integral part of Care BC’s Meals on Wheels for an impressive 22 years. Pat’s journey with Care BC began when she sought a fulfilling way to contribute her time outside of her regular employment as a contract consultant. Her search for meaningful volunteer work led her to Meals On Wheels, and since her first day, she has become an invaluable member of our team.

In her pivotal role as a kitchen dispatcher and meal courier, Pat is responsible for overseeing the meticulous process of dispatching meals from our kitchen where fresh nutritious meals are prepared daily. Pat’s impact goes far beyond her technical duties as a volunteer. She has cultivated many meaningful relationships with fellow kitchen volunteers, forming lasting friendships that have greatly enriched our volunteer community. Her commitment to Care BC’s Meals on Wheels is unwavering and it is with great enthusiasm that Pat was recommended for the esteemed title of Life Member of Care BC.
