Chinese Meals on Wheels (CMOW)
Vancouver and Richmond
We remind our Meals on Wheels clients to have extra non-perishable or frozen food on hand in case of snowy conditions when deliveries may be delayed or cancelled. Any clients who are affected will be contacted directly. We are extremely grateful for the help we receive from our volunteers who make deliveries in the snow, but we are also very concerned for their safety as well, which is why some routes may have to be cancelled in poor conditions.
Care BC's Chinese Meals on Wheels (Chinese MOW) program has continued to operate weekdays, Monday through Friday during the COVID-19 pandemic with increased safety precautions to protect both our clients and volunteers who deliver the meals.
