North Shore Meals on Wheels

The North Shore Meals on Wheels (NSMOW) program operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
PLEASE NOTE: There are no Meals on Wheels deliveries on Wednesday, July 1 (Canada Day).

Dear Western and North Shore Meals on Wheels Clients,

Western and North Shore Meals on Wheels will be changing its meal provider to Blue Ivy House, effective Monday, June 1, 2026. This decision follows careful planning to ensure you continue receiving safe, nutritious, and reliable meals.

What’s Changing:

  • Menus: Our menu offerings will be updated to provide a refreshed selection of meals. Clients are advised to review our new menus and inform us of any order changes before June 1st.
  • Frozen Breakfasts: We will no longer be offering the daily rotating Frozen Breakfasts. Two of our Frozen Breakfasts will be offered exclusively on our Additional Frozen Entrée Menu as Frozen #9 (Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs, and Sausage) and Frozen #10 (Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, and Hash Browns).
  • Desserts: We will no longer be offering desserts with our hot meals. Clients will receive a larger soup portion instead. This change follows careful consideration, allowing us to focus on our goal of providing high quality, nutritious meals for our clients.
  • Sandwich Packs: Soup will now be provided with all sandwich packs instead of fruit.
  • Cancellation Policy: We continue to require one full business day’s notice for all order cancellations, changes, or additions, with all requests submitted by 11:00am on the business day prior to delivery

What’s Staying the Same:

  • Delivery times: There will be no change to our delivery hours. Meals will continue to be delivered between 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM.
  • Cost: Our meal prices will remain the same, following the price change that occurred on May 1st, 2026. As a reminder, here are our updated prices:
    • $10.95 per Hot Meal (includes soup)
    • $8.75 per Frozen Meal and Frozen Breakfast
    • $7.25 per Sandwich Pack (includes soup)

If you would like to make any changes to your meal selections, please contact us before June 1, 2026. If we do not hear from you, your current order will be adjusted to best match our new menus.
