17th Annual NSCF Charity Golf Tournament
Friday June 7, 2024 North Shore Community Foundation proudly chose The Health and Care Home Society of BC (Care BC) as the designated charity for their 2024 Golf Tournament. Many thanks to all the players, sponsors, community supporters, and volunteers, and the North Shore Community Foundation, for their generous support in helping us raise $50,000 toward the development of Care BC’s North Shore Family Respite Centre. |

On October 28, 2023, over 300 guests came together in celebration for Care BC’s 125th Anniversary Gala, an evening of inspiration, entertainment and giving hosted by Global BC’s Coleen Christie and Auctioneer Fred Lee. As a result of charitable donations, a gift from a private donor and silent and live auction contributions, a record $1,240,000 was raised for Care BC’s North Shore Family Respite Centre project and Care BC’s other vital charitable programs.
This will enable the Society to not only continue to serve our current Meals on Wheels, Family Respite Centre and Community Integration Project clients, but to also address the ever increasing number of seniors and others in need of these invaluable community services in the future.
