May 12, 2011 Meals on Wheels Feeling the Pinch of High Fuel Prices Community Support Needed for Inaugural Meals on Wheels Golf Classic VANCOUVER, BC CANADA – Set to tee off Monday, September 19th at the University Golf Club, the Health and Home Care Society of BC (Care BC) will be hosting its first ever Meals on Wheels Golf Classic. This shotgun-style tournament will include a light lunch, followed by a barbecue buffet and a fantastic silent auction. Southside Nissan has generously donated a 2011 Nissan Versa as the hole-in-one prize for the tournament. All proceeds generated will support Meals on Wheels in Vancouver and Richmond.
