All revenue generated from the clinics directly supports the Western and Chinese Meals on Wheels programs in Vancouver and Richmond. Now in their 15th year of providing flu immunization, Care BC is known as the reliable and trusted source for flu shots throughout the province, rigorously following all Canadian health and safety standards and with many customers returning year after year. Highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurses will answer each person’s questions and ensure the safe disposal of all hazardous waste.

September 7, 2011 Inaugural Meals on Wheels Golf Classic Tees Off - Proceeds Support Meals on Wheels, Vancouver - Richmond VANCOUVER, BC CANADA – Teeing off Monday, September 19th at the University Golf Club, the Health and Home Care Society of BC (Care BC) will be hosting its first ever Meals on Wheels Golf Classic in support of Meals on Wheels, Vancouver and Richmond. The inaugural tournament which includes a light lunch, followed by a barbecue buffet and a fantastic silent auction, is sponsored by City TV and Omni. Southside Nissan has generously donated a 2012 Nissan Versa as the hole-in-one prize for the tournament, and sponsors include Ferrari Masserati, Lee Turner & Associates, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Stantec. |
